Log leaders Leopards will host the Falcons in the first of the two playoff matches.

They managed to secure an away 36-29 over the Falcons last week, and they will be confident of repeating that result on Friday at the Profert Olën Park in Potchefstroom.

The Leopards have been very impressive this season.

They have been a real menace on attack, so the Falcons will have to be on their defensive best if they hope to get one over the Leopards.

In another repeat fixture from last weekend, the Griffons are home to the SWD Eagles in Welkom on Saturday.

However, they need to improve drastically after last weekends poor showing against the Eagles.

They secured a home semifinal despite going down 24-27 to the Eagles at Outeniqua Park in George last Friday.

The visitors needed just a single point from the match and they secured that by ending within seven points of the Eagles.

The two winners of the playoffs will meet in the final on Thursday, October 8.
