Scott Robertson brings in another SA player ahead of Twickenham clash
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Barbarians head coach Scott Robertson has officially unveiled his full squad list ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Wales at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham.
Centre Jeremy Ward is the latest South African to be added to the list.
He joins double Rugby World Cup winners Faf de Klerk and Vincent Koc in Robertson’s squad.
Meanwhile, France internationals, led by 49-cap enforcer Romain Taofifenua, with Jordan Joseph, Tom Spring, and Yoan Tanga, have also added by Robertson.
England No.8 Nathan Hughes returns to his former stomping ground and is joined by Bristol Bears’ livewire hooker Harry Thacker.
Georgia’s Gia Kharaishvili, USA international Jack Iscaro and Samoa prop Paul Alo-Emile add further international quality.
The Barbarians take on Wales after scoring five tries against the reigning world champions in a 31-80 defeat at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium last weekend.
