Uncapped duo remain with Boks

The duo impressed during their match against the Barbarians on Saturday, and as such, have been retained by Allister Coetzee ahead of the upcoming Test against England on November 12.

Janse van Rensburg replaces the injured Jesse Kriel, who will return to South Africa after he suffered a lower leg injury

Springbok fullback Jesse Kriel will return  on Saturday against the Barbarians at Wembley Stadium in London.

Ulengo will stay on in the Bok camp as possible cover for Ruan Combrinck, JP Petersen and Willie le Roux. Petersen and Le Roux both have niggles at the moment, picked up during club rugby action in England and Japan respectively.

They [Petersen and Le Roux] will be examined by the Springbok medical team when they report for national duty on Sunday afternoon. Combrinck suffered a knock to his lower right leg and is currently under review.

Meanwhile, Cheslin Kolbe, Tian Schoeman, Uzair Cassiem, Rudolph Snyman and Lizo Gqoboka returned home after being part of the Bok squad for the Barbarians match.

Janse van Rensburg, Ulengo, Francois Venter, Sergeal Petersen, Roelof Smit and Jean-Luc du Preez are the uncapped players who will stay behind with the Springbok squad for the remainder of the Outgoing Tour.
