VIDEO: 'Hold back on all the hype and give me some time'
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is racking up accolades faster than most.
The 23-year-old superstar was named the MyPlayers Players’ Player of the Year last week, and this week he finished at the top of a list of the game’s 100 greatest players.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu was crowned the world’s best by RugbyPass, with the flyhalf ranked first overall in the Top 100 for 2025.
The Springboks dominate the pointy end of these rankings, with six players selected in the top 10.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu helped South Africa win the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in 2022, starring opposite England’s Fin Smith in a clinical 30-22 triumph.
Three years on, some fans already believe the playmaker is destined to become the best Springbok of all time.
He was even compared to All Black great Dan Carter.
However, Feinberg-Mngomezulu warned against ‘too much hype’, despite his meteoric rise.
“Dan Carter has won three Player of the Year awards and two World Cups,” Feinberg-Mngomezulu said, adding: “I have won zero of those.
“It is fun to talk about, but you have to respect someone’s legacy.
“I’m a 19-cap Springbok and haven’t played in a World Cup yet.
“To put us in the same bracket doesn’t make sense,” he said of the All Black legend with 112 Test caps.
“Let him remain Dan Carter and out of everyone’s reach.
“Give me some time.”

With the 2027 World Cup draw done, the Greatest Rivalry and Nations Cup dates also pencilled in, the Springboks have a clear ‘road map’ for the next two years leading up to the defence of their Webb Ellis Cup title.
“Next year, 2026, is a huge, fundamental part of the potential 2027 success.
“However, we will be shooting ourselves in the foot to think of the World Cup now.”
Asked about which series he most looked forward to in the next two years, he was adamant it is the England fixture next year, not the Greatest Rivalry or the World Cup in two years.
The Springboks will host England (July 4), Scotland (July 11) and Wales (July 18) during July as part of the new Nations Championship.
In the November window, the Springboks will travel for Tests against Italy (November 6 to 8), France (November 13 to 15) and Ireland (November 21) to complete their matches against all Six Nations opponents under the tournament format.
“England at home,” he told @rugby365com, with a huge grin.
“That is the one,” he added.
