VIDEO: Springbok scores solo effort as new chapter starts in Brazil
SPOTLIGHT: Rosko Specman still has plenty of speed, and he showed it off in Round One of Super Rugby Americas.
The 36-year-old signed for Brazilian club Cobras last month, having previously represented Indian Sevens outfit Kalinga Black Tigers.
And he kicked off the latest chapter in his career with a try.
The Cobras got their season underway with a trip south to Argentina to take on Dogos in Córdoba, a team that beat them 74-15 last season.
The one-cap Springbok and former BlitzBok flyer took 26 minutes to register his first try on debut, hacking the ball from 60 metres out following a loose pass and chasing down his kick to score.
Despite the positive start, the Argentine outfit were able to rein in the visitors, eventually winning 21-19.
