Anthem butchers

Ras Dumisani and Ard Matthews will forever be infamous as anthem butchers.

However, which one of them was the worst? Ahead of South Africa's encounter with France in Paris on Saturday, we look back at two of the most inglorious moments in the country's rugby history.

Watch as Ras Dumisani sings what he believes to be his beautiful version of the South African National anthem, before the Springboks' Test match defeat to France on November 14, 2009.

 

Then, two years later Ard Matthews stumbles his way through Nkosi Sikelel iAfrica at the Springbok 2011 World Cup team announcement – joining Dumisani in the ranks of infamy.
