Sirgel joins Lions on loan deal

The Lions have boosted their pride with the acquisition of loose foward and Griquas captain Hanru Sirgel.

The versatile Sirgel will return to Kimberley at the start of the Currie Cup in 2023.

This is Sirgel’s second stint with the Lions having joined at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, but his stay was cut short due to injury.

The University of Pretoria graduate previously represented the Pumas before joining Griquas in 2021.
