S14 - Week 4 - Stats
There were more tries this week as we give some statistics, mostly about getting possession.
Those who believe that all kicks are bad kicks may have to think again, for in each of the six matches the winning team kicked more often than the losing team!
In four matches the Stormers have conceded 22 more penalties than the Lions, that is 5,5 per match more.
Soundsure have been a huge help with much of the statistics, as they always are.
“Stoppages” is the total of penalties, free kicks, line-outs, Scrums and their infernal resets, and drop-outs.
Later we shall discuss laws related to incidents in the matches.
