Peyper, Jackson for semis

SANZAR has appointed the referees for Saturday's semifinals. Jaco Peyper will referee in Sydney, Glen Jackson in Christchurch.

The Crusaders are the only team that played in the 2013 semifinals

In 2013 the referes for the semifinals were Steve Walsh of Chiefs vs Crusaders and Craig Joubert for the Bulls vs the Brumbies at Loftus Versfeld.

In that year Peyper and Jackson were both involved in play-offs – Peyper for Crusaders vs Reds and Jackson fort Brumbies vs Cheetahs..

In 2013 Craig Joubert refereed the final.

Last week Joubert and Walsh refereed the play-offs – in Canberra and Durban.

They are both in Australasia where the final is likely to be played – unless the Sharks and the Brumnbies win, in which case the Final will be in Durban.

Should any Super Rugby Finals Series match end with the scores level, the following will apply until a winner is determined:

a) Extra time played in two periods of 10 minutes

b) Sudden death extra time in a period of up to 10 minutes

c) A kicking competition featuring five players from each team
