Referees to 23 June 2013

By Paul Dobson
Monday 17 Jun 2013

It's the first Test of the B&I Lions' tour to Australia this week, always an exciting event, and Chris Pollock of New Zealand is the man to referee it.

And there are Tests involving all continents. It's an exciting time – just a pity teams are not always at full strength.

Stuart Berry has been appointed to the semifinal of the Junior World Championship and he, too, is excited. The referee for the other semifinal is Luke Pearce of England.

The referee for the Final of the Juior World Championship is Mike Fraser of New Zealand.

In the first round of the Elgon Cup, the Cranes beat Kenya 17-16 in the men's Test while Kenya's women beat the Lady Cranes 18-7. The latter match is of great importance as the winner of the women's Elgon Cup players South Africa in a World Cup qualifier, the winner of which will go to the Women's World Cup.
