Refs for Europe's semis

The European Rugby Cup has announced the referees for the semifinals of the Heineken Cup and the Amlin Challenge Cup.

The referees for the Heineken Cup semis are Dave Pearson of England and George Clancy of Ireland. The referees for the Amlin Challenge semis are Nigel Owens of Wales and Romain Poite of France. All four of the referees have been appointed to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand later this year.

Pearson will be refereeing his second Heineken semi, Clancy his first.
