South African Referees in PRO14
Two of them, Quinton Immelman and Stuart Berry, have already been appointed to referee matches. Cwengile Jadezweni is also included as a referee with a development opportunity.
In addition, PRO14 will appoint South African TMOs to matches in South Africa – Marius Jonker, Johan Greeff and Shaun Veldsman, for example.
It's more than that. Jaco Peyper is also involved, first as an assistant referee.
Furthermore, in the first four rounds, Dennis Immelman is an assessor/performance reviewer.
Immelman has been appointed to referee in the first week of PRO14 competition, Berry in the second week.
