Veldman's Good News

This morning Shaun Veldsman is still in the Mediclinic at Stellenbosch but with uplifted spirits.

He has been for a walk and says that his morale is high for he is determined to see it as something that happened and leave it in the past.

His wife was with him – and so were two policemen and lots of attention from nurses.

He really sounded far better than he did yesterday, just waiting for the doctor to see about removing the drain.

Veldsman suffered a punctured lung when stabbed by criminals on his way home from Newlands on Saturday night.
