Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose

Team of the Week: Shamrock v RoseTeam of the Week: Shamrock v RoseIreland and England will meet in just under a fortnight in what may well the Six Nations tournament decider.

And they are warming up for the big game by going head-to-head in rugby365's famous team of the week.

Ireland, who beat France at the weekend, and England, who overcame Italy, are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the Championship.

And their good form is reflected in our selection – four from Ireland and four English players in our starting XV.

Scotland also impressed, despite their loss to Wales, and have three players starting for us. Wales (two), France and Italy (one each) make up the numbers.

There's further reward for England and Ireland in our back-up squad – a selection which Wales dominate.

Six Welshmen are bubbling under, followed by Ireland (five), England (three) and Italy (one).

Five players return from last week – fullback Stuart Hogg (Scotland), centre Jonathan Joseph (England), scrumhalf Conor Murray (Ireland), as well as props Dan Cole (England) and Joe Marler (England).

Team of the Week: Six Nations, Round Two:

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose15 – Stuart Hogg (Scotland):

His value to Scotland can be measure in far more than just attacking metres and tackles made.

Bubbling under: Leigh Halfpenny (Wales)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose14 – Yoann Huget (France):

Like most French players consistency is no his best attribute – when he is good he is awesome, when he is bad he is horrible.

Bubbling under: Anthony Watson (England)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose13 – Jonathan Joseph (England):

Stuart Lancaster may have unearthed a real gem here!

Bubbling under: Jared Payne (Ireland)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose12 – Alex Dunbar (Scotland):

In a head-to-head shootout, Dunbar just edged his Welsh rival, Jamie Roberts.

Bubbling under: Jamie Roberts (Wales)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose11 – Liam Williams (Wales):

Maybe defence is not his best trait, but on attack he is a constant threat.

Bubbling under: Simon Zebo (Ireland)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose10 – Jonathan Sexton (Ireland):

Arguably the world's premier flyhalf at the moment – at least the most in-form.

Bubbling under: Dan Biggar (Wales)

He is central to his team's cause and his form is improving with every match.

Another tight contest, barely separable.

Bubbling under: Sergio Parisse (Italy)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose7 – Sam Warburton (Wales):

It may well be a selection that will raise some debate.

Bubbling under: Chris Robshaw (England)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose6 – Peter O'Mahony (Ireland):

In true Irish fashion he is a combative loose forward.

Bubbling under: DanDan Lydiate (Wales)

Team of the Week: Shamrock v Rose5 – Paul O'Connell (Ireland):

The veteran again showed he is still up there with the best.

Bubbling under: Alun Wyn Jones (Wales)

Nothing gray about his game, just pure gold!

Beginning to make a big statement with some consistent performances.

Another inspired performance by the veteran.

Solid scrumming, a monster on defence and doing all the basics well.

Bubbling under: Jack McGrath.
