Western Province coach John Dobson has added his unique insight to how one of the Springboks' most powerful weapon – the rolling maul – has stagnated as other nations upgraded their arsenal.

Dobbo, as the Late Tackle boys call him, is no stranger to maul situations as that is one of his focus points and believes that the South African mindset towards the maul situation needs to adapt to the modern trend.

At the start of the relaxed banter, Dobbo – who is currently preparing for the domestic provincial challenge – expresses his amazement into how big the game is in the smaller South African communities.
