Siyabonga ‘Skara’ Ntubeni has known Kolisi from their Varsity Cup days at UCT in 2011 and has since become close friends. The selection of Kolisi as captain and what it means to the country as a whole has been well documented but that feeling of pride intensifies as you ask those closest to him.

Kolisi began his Springbok captaincy with a 42-39 victory over England at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
