In dissecting the broader 43-man squad, Anton ‘Worms’ van Zyl, Morgan Newman and Howie Kahn noticed that the selections of bulkier wings were a stand-out.

The likes of Courtnall Skosan and Raymond Rhule were the preferred wings for previous coach Allister Coetzee but have both not been considered by Erasmus. Skosan is currently recovering from injury while Rhule has been way off the pace for the Stormers this season.
