Schalk Burger - Raw and Uncut

Burger is currently playing for Saracens in the Premiership but has been out of action for some time and is in the process of returning to the field of play as he recovers from a serious hamstring tear.
Burger got the conversation going by touching on his recovery and Saracens’ record-breaking start to the 2018/19 Premiership season before he answers a common question about Billy Vunipola’s value to the club and England.
A few viewers’ questions get answered from 08:20 which includes questions about South African teams heading to the PRO14, Burgers’ thoughts on the current Springboks setup, a funny story about post-match team punishments and his ideal fines meeting combination.
The 86-cap Springbok, who was the SA Rugby Player of the Year in 2004 and 2011, signs out by revealing whether or not he remains available for Springbok selection at 20:15.
