All Blacks' dramatic slide shows in rankings

SPOTLIGHT: New Zealand’s dramatic slide in standard is reflected in their drop on the World Rugby rankings.

The All Blacks had slipped to third place on the latest rankings.

Their 15-25 loss to Argentina at the weekend – the first time ever that Los Pumas beat the All Blacks – saw the Kiwis lose two rankings points.

It allowed England to overtake them in second place, despite the English not gaining any rankings points for their 40-0 whitewash of Georgia in a year-end Nations Cup fixture at the weekend.

Argentina was the biggest movers.

The two rankings points they gained from their win saw them jump from 10th to eighth on the latest table.

There were no other significant changes in the top 10.

Ireland gained 0.47 rankings points for their 32-9 demolition of Wales, but stayed in fifth place.

Scotland gained 0.20 rankings points for their 28-17 win over Italy, but stayed in seventh place.
