LISTEN as Welsh legend Maxwell Boyce reads this heavenly poem that captures the tone, the space and time in a way only he can.

Boyce, a Welsh comedian, singer and entertainer rose to fame during the mid-1970s with an act that combined musical comedy with his passion for Rugby Union and his origins in the mining communities of South Wales.

His poem, called ‘When Just The Tide Went Out’, was written and read as part of a charity drive for the NHS in Wales.
