Kolisi voted best captain in the world

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has claimed the title of rugby365 Knockout Fan’s Vote World’s Best Captain, beating Wales’ Alun Wyn Jones in the final.

Kolisi claimed the overall prize by 82% of your votes to add another feather in his hat that started on November 2 when he lifted the Webb Ellis trophy.

Kolisi’s road to the final started with an opening-round victory over Argentina’s Pablo Matera and a semi-final win over Australia – claiming the best southern hemisphere captain in the process.

Jones saw off Ireland’s Johnny Sexton in the opening round before seeing off surprise package Charles Ollivon of France in the semi-final stage of the northern hemisphere division.

By the look of these videos, we can definitely see why you have chosen Kolisi.
