Mtawarira made his Test debut for South Africa against Wales at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria, on 14 June 2008.

He went on to play 117 Tests for the Springboks before he retired after winning the World Cup in Japan last year.

Along the way he destroyed numerous reputations in the front row.

Marler made his debut for England against South Africa at Kings Park, Durban, on 9 June 2012 and has played 71 Tests – including losing to the Springbok in the World Cup Final in Yokohama last November.
