Player ratings: Not Enough

Strong tackles, competing at the breakdowns and a neat interplay showed just how far this team has come and why they are such a huge threat. Unfortunately for them though, they went to sleep for 12 minutes in the first half and that proved to be the difference.

Their second half performance was much improved and they can certainly hold their heads high, although, they would feel they could have gotten more from the game when they had the numerical advantage.

Tauriq Ebrahim rates the Argentinian players!

15 Joaquín Tuculet

Showed how elusive he can be when given the space to run and his kicking game was not too bad either.

14 Santiago Cordero

Had minimal opportunities with ball-in-hand and had the tough job of going up against Julian Savea. He stood up to that challenge at times but slipped too many tackles.

13 Matías Moroni

Made the hardest defensive position look like a stroll in the park and was equally good on the attack.

12 Santiago González Iglesias

A very quiet game as he preferred passing the ball as opposed to running with it and will be concerned about the number of tackles he failed to hold on to.

11 Ramiro Moyano

Nothing spectacular in his overall game as he was neither here nor there on attack and defence.

10 Nicolás Sánchez

Not only can he manipulate the defence to create gaps but he sure has a big heart in putting his body on the line when his channel was targeted.

9 Martín Landajo (captain)

Crisp service is the order of the day when he is on the park and his Jack Russell-style of play makes him a handful in any moment.

8 Facundo Isa

What more can be said of his talent? He proved, once again, that he can step up against the best in the business.

7 Javier Ortega Desio

A defensive monster who left a few All Black players with bruises but it was more his work rate between those tackles that made him stand out from the rest.

6 Pablo Matera

He went about his business in an unassuming manner but worked brilliantly with his fellow loose forwards to cause a few headaches.

5 Matías Alemanno

Part of the engine room that kept things going for the home side, although, one does feel that he could have offered a bit more to help subdue his opposite number.

4 Guido Petti

The defensive standard has to be set upfront and he set that standard for the rest of the team to follow.

3 Ramiro Herrera

Played more of a defensive role and stood firm in his primary role at scrum time.

2 Agustín Creevy

Watching him run with the ball is a thing of beauty, although it is hard to look past his overcooked line-out throw that led to an All Blacks try.

1 Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro

Another satisfactory day in the office, although he offered very little in general play.

16 Julian Montoya (on for Creevy, 49th min)

He may not have had much impact with the ball but provided a solid anchor at scrum time to help dominate the All Blacks.

17 Lucas Noguera (on for Chaparro, 53rd min)

His only real contribution came at scrum time as he brought some extra grunt onto the park.

18 Enrique Pieretto (on for Herrera, 64th min)

Much the same as his front row partners in terms of helping to produce a solid scrum.

19 Juan Manuel Leguizamon (on for Matera, 66th min)

Not enough time to be rated.

20 Leonardo Senatore (on for Alemanno, 58th min)

Would probably have loved to have had more of the ball to make some impact as it seemed he had very little to do.

21 Tomás Cubelli (on for Landajo, 57th min)

Continued to build on the platform set by Landajo and was as elusive as ever with some sniping runs around the fringes.

22 Jerónimo De la Fuente (on for Sanchez, 69th min)

Not enough time to be rated.

23 Matías Orlando (on for Moyano, 78th min)

Not enough time to be rated.
