National women’s #Sevens coach @pauldelport9 joins @King365ed and @LoffieEloff, as they look at the call-up of @BlitzBoks star Ruhan Nel to the 15-a-side Springboks this week.

Nel, one of the surprise selections in the squad for the Round Five encounter with Australia in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, has been sent back to his domestic team – Western Province.

With more than 130-plus appearances for the back-to-back World Series champions, there was hope that Nel’s skill will be unleashed on the Wallabies.

However, he will instead play for WP against the Sharks in a crucial top-of-the-table Currie Cup match at Newlands – just hours before the Boks tackle the Wallabies.

The @rugby365com team looks at the skill and value players like Nel bring from their time on the #Sevens circuit.

They also look at the @SanzarTRC Round Five encounters between the @Springboks and @qantaswallabies, as well as the @AllBlacks and @lospumas. They also look at @TheCurrieCup match between @WP_RUGBY and @TheSharksZA – the only domestic match of the weekend.
