Readers' Team of the Week

OPINION: Here it is, the South African Team of the Week as selected by you … the readers!

There are nine players from the Bulls and five from the Stormers.

Lions hooker Malcolm Marx is the only player outside of these two teams that made the cut.

There is an interesting collection of nominations for the bench: Roelof Smit, Juarno Augustus and Josh Stander received the most nominations.

Then the South African players outside the Republic – currently plying their trade abroad – who were fancied by the readers were Ruan Ackermann (who received the most nominations), Willie le Roux, Francois de Klerk, Cobus Reinach and Cheslin Kolbe.
