OPINION: Here it is – the results of the readers’ votes for the South African Team of the Week.

The most popular vote this week was Stormers scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies, with 83 percent of the vote.

He was followed by Curwin Bosch (Sharks – 80 percent), Siya Kolisi (Stormers – 71 percent) and Steven Kitshoff (Stormers – 60 percent).

Players who came off the bench and impressed the readers are Carlü Sadie (five votes), Tyrone Green, Wilco Louw, Jean-Luc du Plessis (all two votes), Sikhumbuzo Notshe, Cameron Wright, Jacques Vermeulen, Jaco Visagie, Embrose Papier, Dan Kriel and Thomas Du Toit (one vote each).

Players who featured in European competitions and impressed the readers are Vincent Koch (three votes), Cobus Reinach, Francois de Klerk (two votes each), Cheslin Kolbe, Duhan van de Merwe, Jaco Kriel and Michael Rhodes (one vote each).
