Putting up the high ball or what’s referred to as the “garryowen” can lead to some spectacular plays in rugby…..or it can lead to utter disaster.

Think back to the awful collision between CJ Stander and Pat Lambie or that moment of madness from Ronan O’Gara during the second Test of the 2009 B&I Lions Tour to SA causing them to lose the series.
