Monnas dominate Golden Lions
After the last trials at Marais Viljoen on Tuesday night, the Golden Lions announced four teams for national tournaments. Monument and then Marais Viljoen dominate selections.
Of last year’s Craven Week side, lock Ruan Venter, flank Sniper Nel, flank Fabian Booysen and wing Lonwabo Ntlei are back in the side.
Tiaan MacDonald is the son of Springbok Ian MacDonald.
Paul Willemse played for Namibia at last year’s Craven Week when he was at school in Tsumeb.
