Affies vs Klofies

It is no different this year for the two top South African rugby schools.

There is not a lot to choose between the two. At present Affies are ranked fifth on the Schools Top 20, Klofies 12th – a negligible difference in the context of South Africa's many fine rugby schools.

Affies, the home side this year, have won seven of their 11 matches. Six of those 11 matches were against Top 20 asides. They have lost to the two Paarl schools, Paul Roos and Grey College.

Waterkloof have won eight of their 13 matches, and eight of their 13 matches have been against Top 20 schools.

They are not schools that turn away from a challenge
