Big guns flex their school muscles
WEEKEND RESULTS: Following the Easter weekend, the schools action produced several interesting derby results.
Maritzburg College prevailed 18-7 against Glenwood prevailed in the big Kwa-Zulu Natal derby.
Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool got the better of Pretoria rivals Garsfontein (33-31) in a Gauteng nailbiter.
The two big Paarl schools – Gymnasium and Boys’ High – also triumphed at the weekend.
Paarl Gymnasium dismissed Boland Landbou 47-13, while Paarl Boys’ High had to work harder for their 19-10 win over Oakdale.
