Big Win for College

Daniël Pienaar started brightly and, with College making a number of defensive errors, it was the Daniël Pienaar eighthman who opened the scoring with a try out wide which was converted, seeing them jump into a 7-0 lead.

College responded soon after with a good line-out drive by the forwards allowing hooker Chris Poole to score.

The College pack was dominant in the scrums and putting plenty of pressure on the Daniël Pienaar pack. Good handling by the College forwards allowed tighthead prop Bame Malesu to charge through and score under the poles. A further two tries, one to Anthony More and another to William McAdam, with three conversions from Ryan Thompson, saw College go into the break 26-7 up.

Ill discipline after the break meant the game never reached any great heights in the second half, but further tries to Anthony More, Ryan Ford and hard-working eighthman Miles Danckwerts saw College end up comfortable 43-7 winners.
