Boishaai's quarters win
In the quarterfinal of Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, Paarl Boys' High had a massive 66-0 win over St Edmund's of Canberra.
It was their fourth match and again a high score after wins of 24-13, 38-7 and 101-0.
Boys' High ran out to the strains of Johnny Clegg's Impi and were soon on the scoreboard after kicking off into the wind. They went on a pick-'n-drive and Curtley Grain scored. 5-0. Ryan Lafite kicked a penalty and then scrumhalf Bradley Thain scored their second try. 13-0 and already it was clear who was going to win the match.
Derrick Marais drove well and Heinrich Möller scored a try which Ryan Lafite converted and it was 20-0. Heinrich Möller got a second try and then, when Boys' High mauled from an attacking line-out, they were awarded a penalty try which Rayhaan Lombaard converted.
Three penalties against Boys' High and a yellow card put St Edmund's on the attack but then the penalties and the yellow card went Boys' High's way and right wing Zach Snyman scored the try that made the half-time score 37-0.
Two penalties gave Boys' High attacking line-outs and lock Ruben de Villiers scored the try. This was followed by tries by Wian Gouws (converted), Rayhaan Lombaard (2) and substitute Jan-Louis la Grange. Rayhaan Lombaard's first try was converted.
In all Boys' High scored 10 tries.
