Cambridge captain: Lusanda Badiyana
Cambridge captain Lusanda Badiyana is hoping to lead his team to repeat their feat of beating Hudson Park earlier this season when the two schools meet in an upcoming FNB Classic Clash.
Badiyana is well aware his school hasn't managed to do the double over Hudson in a while and will be relishing the chance to achieve the rare feat despite being evenly matched.
"It's definitely going to be a tough game. We aren't expecting anything less than a hard, physical game. It's going to come down to who wants it more," he said.
The eighth man had the opportunity to represent Border in the 2014 Academy week where he could test his skills at a higher level as well as learning different playing styles and training techniques.
Cambridge are fortunate to not have any injuries and will field their strongest possible team which has a good blend of youth and experience.
"None of our players are suffering from injury. We have a good mix of experience and youth and that's vital in such an important fixture. It's the last game for the matriculants to wear the black jersey," he added.
It's been a good season for them with one or two disappointing results but the strong ball carrier knows his team will enjoy the occasion as that is what brings out the best in them.
"They just need to enjoy the occasion and the match. If we do that, we will play well. I know we can rely on each player to give of his best on the day," he said.
Badiyana has enrolled at NMMU and plans on playing age group rugby for the EP Kings in the near future.
