Hoërskool Outeniqua captain Niel Otto is expecting Hoërskool Oudshoorn to throw everything at them in their Classic Clash on Monday.

The Kwaggas will be the stronger of the two sides but Otto knows that they still have to be at their best to get the win.

"In the last 20 years the Struisies only beat us once, but we know not to underestimate them at all. They are a proud rugby playing school.

"Each year the Struisies play their hearts out against die Kwaggas and nothing will be different this year. They are going to give everything. I expect a very physical game," said Otto.

Otto, who plays at flank, has also played provincial representative rugby for SWD and will also be going to one of the country's top rugby academies next year.

"I represented the SWD Under-18 Academy team in 2014, but this year I was not available for trials due to injury. That was a bad blow for me.

“Last year was a great experience to see all the talent that South Africa has. I learned a lot. I am also going to the Sharks Academy next year," he added.

Otto is also enjoying the role of captain for his school, especially as Outeniqua is a proud rugby school.

"It was a great privilege to be named captain for one of South Africa’s top rugby schools.

"As captain my actions speak louder than my words. I lead by example and as a player I believe in fitness and hard work in and out of season," he said.
