College face mammoth task against KES
This year the two schools are playing each other twice on a home and away basis. KES was the victor in the earlier match in May, but College will want to avenge that loss on their beloved Goldstones field.
The home team will have their work cut out as this KES team boasts a host of Golden Lions provincial players that was so successful during the Craven Week tournament at St Stithians College.
KES could only record one win in the two teams last five encounters, with College winning two and two matches ending in a draw.
Thus far, College have lost their last 4 matches and with their last match of the season coming up at Goldstone, losing is not an option.
Thus far, College have won eight of their 18 matches, KES have won 14 of their 15 matches – their only defeat was a 19-24 loss to Hoerskool Monument.
KES' great season made sure the Johannesburg side occupy the fourth spot in the SA TOP20 rankings.
KES' players are eligible for Golden Lions teams, College's players are eligible for Sharks.
