Dale captain - Sibusiso Ngcokovane
Dale have been the surprise package of the Eastern Cape this year with captain Sibusiso Ngcokovane proud of his team for pulling off a number of unexpected victories.
Ngcokovane will be hoping that this weekend becomes another game that they come out on top – even though they are seen as slight favourites.
"It has always been a good clash between our two schools," Ngcokovane said ahead of his teams Classic Clash with Queens College.
"We can never underestimate them. As far as wins go, we dominate them a little, but they are always a tough opposition."
Ngcokovane is happy that his team is looking good for the weekend, with the blend of youth and experience just right.
"We have a mixture of youth and experience this weekend and are only missing two key players due to injury," Ngcokovane added.
"Luckily we have two very able replacements that are rearing to go."
As the team's scrumhalf, Ngcokovane is a nippy character that likes to keep the opposition guessing with his work around the breakdown.
"I believe I posses a number of valuable skills on the rugby field," he said of himself.
"I consider myself quick around the ruck area.
"As a captain I feel I am calm under pressure and communicate well with others."
Ngcokovane is clearly enjoying his rugby and with the resurgence of Eastern Province rugby, he is looking to the Union for his future.
"I would like to continue my rugby career through the EP Kings," he concluded.
