Diamantveld captain - Nardus Bosman

If there is someone who knows how to deal with the pressure of captaincy it is Nardus Bosman who has lead not only his school, but his province.

Bosman has racked up a wealth of experience in his rugby career in his 35 caps for the first team in two years.

He has obviously been tagged as a true leader having captained the Griquas in this years Craven Week team as well.

"Craven week was a unbelievable experience," Bosman said after appearing in the schoolboy showcase for a second time.

"I made a lot of friends and the week helped me to develop my game.

"To play against the best schools in South Africa was a big privilege."

The big ball-carrying flank is very proud of his young team's season so far for what they have accomplished.

"We are a very young team, nine players are still in grade 11, but those young guns brings great energy towards our team culture and playing style," the captain added.

"We had a good season winning 10 out of our 14 games."

Bosman is clearly hoping to keep their winning record going when they come up against Noord-Kaap in their Kimberley based Classic Clash.

"It is always very competitive derby between the two Kimberley schools with passion, pride and honour," the captain concluded

"We believe we can turn the odds."
