FNB Top 20 - 8 June

There have been upheavals in the FNB Top 20 this week after some big results. They have led to shuffling in places where it is remarkably hard to shuffle and a slight shuffle can produce a substantial change.

Paarl Gim had a massive win over Boland Landbou, two schools which usually have ding-dong battles. Maritzburg College’s win over Glenwood, even on Goldstones, was a surprise and especially the size of it. Paul Roos had a substantial victory over Paarl Boys’ High as St Andrew’s did over Selborne. There certainly is movement.

This week Centurion come into the FNB Top 20 for the first time this year.

There are many other great sides in South Africa – including Marlow, who are improving, Die Brandwag of Uitenhage, Eldoraigne, Dale, Oakdale and Menlopark.

The FNB Top 20 will go into abeyance till the schools get going again in July – those that actually play in the third term.
