Girls' U16 Week starts
SARU's Girls' Under-16 Week starts at Langenhoven Gimnasium in Oudtshoorn on Monday, 29 June 2015.
This is the sixth such week for girls. It ends on 3 July 2015.
The fixtures for Day 1 of the Tournament have been laid down. The fixtures for the other two days – Wednesday 1 July and Saturday 3 July – will be made to take into account previous performance in or der to match the teams well.
Western Province play the first match on the A Field. In 2014 they won all three of their matches handsomely. Limpopo will be their opponents who last year lost their first two matches but ended with a big win over the Golden Lions.
EP, the other successful team in 2014, play the Pumas in the sceond match of the day.
The hosts, South Western Districts, play KwaZulu-Natal in the third match.
As with other national tournaments there is no winner, just the prestige of obvious success and the naming of a team of the tournament which will be invited to a training camp in October to improve their skills and playing techniques..
