It's the highest scores in matches between the first teams of Glenwood and DHS since 1922 and the biggest winning margin of 43 points.

Glenwood were full value for their huge win as they were simply better than DHS in every aspect of the game. But then this is Glenwood's Dream Team with 12 players in the 2018 Craven Week team and another three in the Academy Week team, and that does not include star centre Conan le Fleur who turned 19 this month and so is too old for Craven Week where the age is Under-18.

Glenwood kicked off and could have scored in a matter of seconds as Rynhardt Jonker jumped caught the kick but his pass to an unmarked player on his right was knocked on with an open line ahead. But they took the lead when strong eighthman George Luzolo powered over the line. 5-0 after 3 minutes.

By half-time, Glenwood, playing into a stiff wind, had scored four tries and led 20-0.

The fourth try was special. From a scrum about 30 metres from Glenwood's line, flyhalf Dylan Pretorius broke and raced some 70 metres downfield to score in the left corner.

Then Glenwood turned with the wind but DHS scored first. Glenwood lost a player to the sin bin and DHS bashed at the line till wing Malusi Ntuli skipped over for a try which Shakur La Douce converted. 20-7 after 38 minutes.

Glenwood's response was tries by Jonker and Jaden Hendrikse in the next seven minutes and they kept building till the score was 55-7 with seven  minutes to play.

Jonker's was special. DHS made a mess of a kick-off which resulted in a scrum in the middle of the half-way line., From it Jonker broke and sped over 50 metres, dummying the last defender, to score.

Glenwood's last try was set in motion by powerful burst and midfield gallop by prop Thabiso Mdletshe. Jean Roux scored the try.

DHS got their second try after Celimpilo Gumede burst clear and Ulrich Brown raced down the left to score.
