Glenwood vs Menlopark
Glenwood are an ambitious side, never scared to take on the best and casting their net wide for fixtures. So far this year, in their eight matches, they have played teams from Boksburg, Port Elizabeth, Kimberley, Durban, Garsfontein, Paarl and Botha's hill. They have won seven of their eight matches, losing only to powerful Paarl Boys' High. They recovered from that 30-12 loss by hammering Kearsney 59-12.
Glenwood are currently ranked sixth on the Top 20.
This season Menlo have won six of their eight matches, including victories over Noord-Kaap, Kempton Park, Outeniqua, Brackenfell and, last week, Eldoraigne. Their defeat by Garsfontein was a surprise and they just lost to Marlow. Only this week they got onto the Top 20 for the first time this year and are currently ranked 18th.
It is an interesting match, a rare fixture.
When they met in 2015, at the Kearsney Easter Festival, Glenwood scored three tries to two but Menlo won the match 23-19.
The match will be streamed live.
