Graeme captain - Sethu Pinini

Experienced Graeme captain Siposethu Pinini knows that composure will be key in the big FNB Classic Clash with St Andrews in Grahamstown on Saturday.

The flyhalf has been a part of the first XV squad for the past four years, and after losing two consecutive matches against St Andrews by just one point he knows just how tough it will be against their old rivals.

Graeme have made a solid start to their season, with Pinini pulling the strings as playmaker, and have lost just two of their games. This has given the skipper plenty of hope that they can turn the tables on St Andrews this year.

"We have got a team filled with experienced players, as well as replacement players from the 2nd XV.

"We've had a break for seven days, so I'm expecting my brothers to give more than 100% on the field," he said.

However, he knows that they will have to remain focused when the inevitable pressure comes from the opposition.

"I make sure that we are composed in every game. I tell my team to express themselves in every game. We need to stay composed, stick to our structure and not put ourselves under pressure," he said.

Pinini played at Craven Week last year and hopes to continue with rugby after school as he looks to develop as a running flyhalf.

"I would like to continue playing rugby and become a mentor for future generations.

"My strengths as a player are my skill in the distribution of the ball and my communication skills. I'm able to communicate with everyone in the team and my use my experience at this level," he said.
