Hawston captain: Charlton Cellie

Charlton Cellie is hoping that his team can repeat their victory last year when they travel to face Swartberg in their FNB Clasic Clash this weekend.

The dynamic flank is in his third year in the first team at Hawston, and although they have had the better of their rivals in the last few years, he knows they will have to be on top of their game away from home.

Cellie has been on the winning side in two out of three FNB Classic Clashes against Swartberg, and he is determined to keep that impressive record going this weekend.

It has been a good season for Hawston, who have only lost one out of their ten games so far, so confidence in the squad is pretty high.

"We won the last FNB Classic Clash on home soil and also beat them on several occasions before. We want to play attractive winning rugby by applying what we have practised," he said.

The Hawston skipper is an openside flank, or 'fetcher', and he will be targeting the breakdown in an attempt to disrupt Swartberg's game.

Cellie is known as a hard worker both on and off the pitch and he plans to study a sports management course next year.
