HTS Potch captain - Katleho Leokaoke
Katleho Leokaoke sees the upcoming FNB Classic Clash against Potch boys High as an 'outright rivalry' that is bound to be full of fast, hard rugby.
Although HTS Potch have had a rocky start to the season Leokaoke now feels his team are gaining momentum at the right time as they come up against Potch Boys High.
The HTS boys will be treating this game as a final but Leokaoke is adamant that they will do nothing different other than up the intensity.
"He who fails to prepare, prepares to fail. Hard work brings success and preparing goes hand in hand with hard work," Leokaoke said when asked about his teams preparations this week.
"We will change nothing but our intensity levels this week at practice.
"It is never crowded along the extra mile so hard work will be the factor that lands us in that extra mile, which will give us the upper hand over our rivals."
Leokaoke is a classical running No.10 that likes to get his backline attacking, he is clearly a motivational leader that will be pushing his team all the way.
Being promoted to captain of the 'White Jerseys' has been a crowning moment for the grade 12 learner.
The arm-band has motivated him personally to up his own game and become a much harder worker; for his team he has become an influential player.
Leokaoke is not only a rugby star, but a fine cricketer as well – he hopes to take his cricketing talents to the highest levels in the future as a career.
