Kearsney remembers Glenwood

The fixture between Kearsney and Glenwood was played at Kings Park, providing a great opportunity for the players at that venue.

The talent and class of Glenwood was too much for their opponents, but the Kearsney team showed courage and never gave up. Glenwood, who must surely be the current top KwaZulu-Natal schools’ rugby team, scored nine tries to Kearsney’s one, which was scored by Aiden Bossert. Jacques Odendaal also kicked a penalty for Kearsney.

Both teams provided a highly entertaining game as the curtain raiser to the Sharks-Stormers Saturday clash.

Kearsney’s outstanding players were Sibu Sangweni, Nicholas Baines and Dylan Bissett.
