Bethlehem Voortrekker captain Andre Jansen van Vuuren will lead a powerhouse team out to face Witteberg in their FNB Classic Clash on Saturday.
The speedy openside flank recently returned from his second Craven Week which saw him captain the Griffons side in Polokwane, and he has now turned his attention to finishing his school rugby career on a high.
Bethlehem Voortrekker smashed Witteberg 74-5 last year, and with four other Griffons Craven Week players in his side, it is understandable that Jansen van Vuuren is feeling confident ahead of this match.
Bethlehem Vootrekker have only lost three games this season, but that does not mean that they will be taking anything for granted when they travel away this weekend.
"It is going to be tough playing away but the whole school will be there to support us so we are excited about it," said Jansen van Vuuren.
The Bethlehem Voortrekker skipper, who models his game on ace Cheetahs fetcher Heinrich Brussow, believes that the key to victory on Saturday will be to move the ball around as much as possible.
"They have got some big forwards, but our strength is our speed so we will try and take it wide," he explained.
