Schools Top 20 - May 13

There were some big schools results around the country this week which have had a major influence on our rankings.

Eight of the teams in the Top 20 last week lost on the weekend, with eight more winning, one draw and three schools that did not play.

Our top side Grey College continued their unbeaten run with a good win against Affies in their Classic Clash and there were significant wins for Waterkloof over Menlopark, EG Jansen against HTS Middelburg and Nelspruit over Garsfontein – and those are just in the top ten.

Paul Roos continued their upward curve by beating Paarl Gim, whilst Paarl Boys High returned from Japan to hand Wynberg their first defeat this year, and Nelspruit's win against Garsfontein sees them make an appearance at the foot of the standings.

Other teams who continued their good form to stake a claim for a spot in the top 20 were Bishops, Dale, Jeppe and Kempton Park who beat the mighty Monument.
