Zwartkop captain - Ruan Viljoen

Zwartkop may not have had all the results go their way but captain Ruan Viljoen knows that his team have learnt a lot from these experiences as they look to move forward.

Viljoen,  now in his second season with the first team, is seen as an influential leader both on and off the field.

"For me it has been a great honour to be chosen as captain and it taught me a lot of responsibilities on and off the field," he said.

"I believe in always lead by example on and off the field, and I expect the same from my players.

"We need to live and die together on that field."

The big FNB Classic Clash against Eldoraigne is one that Viljoen has been targeting.

"It is always competitive with them and it is a major clash," the captain added.

"This is always a game to remember and there should be nothing different this weekend.

"Eldoraigne is a big and physical team with game breakers.

"They will be coming hard in the first half and I expect us be tested on our defence through the entire game."

However, Viljoen has not let the occasion over come him or his team, letting them know that they need to take it like any other game.

"This FNB classic clash is the same as any other game against a tough team, We will stick to our game plan with intense focus and commitment – We will never give up," he concluded.
