Schools Top 20 - April 12

For one thing, some schools that were ineligible for not having played four matches in South Africa have become eligible, and that includes: Grey College, Paarl Gim, Boland Landbou, Wynberg, SACS, Maritzburg College and Nelspruit.

Of them, Grey Bloem and Paarl Gim have jumped straight into the Top 20. Paarl Gim after a strong victory over Boland Landbou and Grey after a massive victory over Maritzburg College. In fact Grey have as yet not been extended.

Significant results:

Paul Roos v Grey PE, 34-21

Eldoraigne v HTS Middelburg, 28-22

Queen's College v Marlow, 25-15

Grey College v Maritzburg College, 60-13

Paul Roos are the ones who have benefitted most, moving from 10th to fifth.

In deciding on our Top 20, we again have followed the principle of rewarding teams that have played as far as possible.
