Davies is the third Welshman in a row to be named Player of the Series following Jamie Roberts (2009) and Leigh Halfpennny (2013).
The final Test between New Zealand and the B&I Lions ended in a controversial 15-15 draw at Eden Park at the weekend.
The draw left the series tied at one win each and a draw, the first such result in the Lions' 129-year history and only the second time in 12 visits that they have not lost a series to New Zealand.
"It was a cracking Test match for the spectator," Davies said after the 15-all draw.
"It was a very intense start, the first 20 minutes they came at us out of the blocks and credit to us for that the fight back.
"It could have gone either way at the end. Some may say it is a fair result, but we are disappointed we did not win,"
Davies' second consecutive Lions Tour ended on a high note as the centre received the Player of the series award voted by his teammates.
"I am very humbled, chuffed to bits to get the award which is voted for by my peers," he revealed.
"But if you look back it was a team effort… we achieved something very special.
"It is really great to be part of a special group of players.
"The Lions are something special and I think the tour has been a great advert for that,"
